We have chosen the domain name for our new website for grandparents. GrandparentsTLC.com. It's a warm sounding name, easy to remember, and about as short as can be. It includes the keyword grandparent in the domain name.
We are getting the new site up and running very quickly. It is starting out as our blog for showing grandparents ideas to connect with their grandchildren, with a focus on modern technology. The website will grow to encompass most, if not all, of the Website for Grandparents features defined in the Grandparent Project.
So now we need to refine the tag line (like a sub-title) that will go at the top of the website underneath the title "Grandparents TLC". The tag line states the purpose of the site. It should be short and catchy. It must contain the following three words, for which the TLC acronym stands for:
Here are a few ideas. (Some are probably too long.)
What are your ideas? Please comment below to help us pick out a tag line. Thanks!
My wife and I are currently writing a book on grandparenting. It focuses on technology. What cool technologies are available to grandparents? How can it benefit their relationships with their grandchildren? How can grandparents learn how to use these technologies? The book will specifically discuss each of these questions and more. We will have easy-to-use tutorials that show how to use various technologies.
We also are developing a companion website, discussion forum, blog, podcast, email newsletter, and more -- all for grandparents. These will offer other ideas and tips.
The names for the book and website could be the same or different. What are your ideas for possible names for the book? Should the website have the same name?
Here are some sample ideas:
